Abstract: Coordination between international police agencies is the cornerstone to combating cybercrime, a global threat. Public press releases do not accurately reflect all the background work needed for a successful takedown of a criminal enterprise. About the Speaker: Geoff Roth is a senior IT technical advisor at the RCMP, where he has been for 22 years. As a civilian member, he has worked on numerous criminal investigations and built digital forensics and intercept technology tools to assist investigations. In 2019, he joined the Federal Policing Cybercrime program and is currently the manager of the Technical Team at the RCMP headquarters.
