Do you know? It is a big day for us to celebrate the end of term with your new and old friends, professors and our other two clubs (FARM and ActSci).


This is an event for Stats, FARM, and ActSci club members only. We will provide food, board games and more. Have fun and recharge!

SQL Tutorial -Sunday, March 20th 2016, 2:00pm-7:00pm, MC 3003 (Mac Lab)

Please join us for an introductory tutorial to the SQL presented by Statsclub President Darrell Aucoin. He'll be covering the following topics:

There will be lots of opportunity for workshop-style experimentation.

If you are a math faculty student you can use the lab computers, but if not, or if you just want to work in a more familiar environment, please make sure $


We will host a mid-session lunch break for participants with tasty sandwiches provided in the C&D, just around the corner from the lab.


You must be a Statistics Club member to participate. We will be taking $2 student memberships at the door, as space allows.

March Break Open House 2016 -Saturday, March 19th 2016, 10:00am-40:00pm

Join us on campus for a full-day program that is designed to answer the more detailed questions that you may have now that you've applied or been admitted$


  • Attend information sessions for you specific faculty or program
  • Take a campus tour and check out our residence
  • Attend Co-opertaive Education, Financing your Education, and Residence Life Information sessions
  • Bring your family and enjoy other exciting activities throughout the day!

Prof Talk with Mu Zhu -Tuesday, March 15th 2016, 4:00pm-5:00pm, M3 2134

The UW Stats Club will be hosting a Prof Talk, featuring Professor Mu Zhu. In an informative and intriguing talk, Prof. Zhu will be discussing how algorithms can be used to create personalized recommendations.


This is an event for Stats Club members only, but anyone can sign-up at the door for $2. Refreshments will be provided!
