Minutes

• Attendance was low
• Big e-mail list wasn't working properly until today, so only a couple of people received the e-mail about when the meeting was

E-mail List

• E-mail list has been set up
• send e-mail to spp@csclub.uwaterloo.ca and mail will be forwarded to everyone in group
• when doing development, send e-mail there about what you're working on
• List wasn't set up properly until today, so previous e-mails (about when the meeting was, etc) didn't reach a bunch of people
• Haven't figured out how to modify subject line so it says SSDG: or something, so put it there yourself

C++

• Was very busy last week
• Talked to one professor, but that professor didn't want to talk (needed more preparation time)
• Ming will personally give a C++ talk on Monday

Coding

• So far, only one person has done any coding
• Will get better later?

Iterators

• The specification uses Microsoft / GNU style iterators
• should we use the new C++ STL style iterators instead?
• decided that it probably wasn't too necessary

Parser Proposal

• Kevin Moule has a proposal and specs for a parser
• Accepted by the group
• Some discussion about whether a "normal" vector is necessary
