There are 98 cards in part 14 of the Amada P.P. Card series of Sailor Moon cards. There are 50 cards from Sailor Moon SuperS and 48 cards from Sailor Moon Sailor Stars. Of the 50 SuperS cards, 6 are prism cards, 8 are etching cards, and 36 are normal cards. The 48 Sailor Stars cards are split between 12 prism cards and 36 normal cards. This part of the series has twice as many cards as any of the other parts I have seen. This may be an indication of how many cards will be in future parts or it may have been done to help sell SuperS cards which would have become less marketable with the start of the Sailor Stars season.
The Amada P.P. cards are normally sold individually in paper envelopes that are strung together (and effectively sealed) by a length of string. The string is also attached to a cardboard cover surrounding the envelopes. To purchase a card, just pull an envelope off the string. New packages of part 14 cards come with 33 envelopes, 2 of which will contain prism cards, and 1 will be an etching card. In addition a sample prism card from the set is taped to the front of the package. Checking the back of this card is often the quickest way to determine which part of the series the cards are from. Some packages will contain little slips of paper with the word "atari!" written in katakana (probably meaning "win!") on them, as well as an invitation to pull another card. I doubt these will be honoured in any store outside of Japan.
