End of term thing

We had our final dev night, and we don’t normally really do anything into exam period (the tutorial tomorrow being an exception). But, we never really had an end of term thing, and some of use are hankering for more. So, we will be having a little end of term social, or maybe you could see it as one final dev night. I don’t know how official you want to consider it, but there will be game development type people hanging out, possibly working on things, possibly just playing games, tomorrow night, Friday April 12, 2013 in MC1056 starting from about 6:00pm.

GDCIE: Continue?

So, I meant to make this post a bit earlier in the week, but there you go. Due to a lack of attendance to the last couple of discussions, I need to ask: are people actually interested in seeing the GDCIE continue this term?

Glorious Discussion Concerning Interactive Entertainment: Actual Sunlight

So, in case people were confused by my long silence, there was no discussion this week due to reading week and all that. But we’ll be continuing the discussions right along now. The next discussion will be Monday February 25, 2013 at 6:00pm in HH139. We will be discussing:

Glorious Discussions Concerning Interactive Entertainment: Bubblegum Slaughter

There’s nothing that can stop the GDCIE. Well, there is, but none of those things have happened, so we’re going to be having another one. The next discussion will the February 11, 2013 at 6:00pm in HH139. Go go magical discussion time (or something):

It’s a text based game about magical girls and the apocalypse and it’s pretty awesome (that’s what we call my opinion). It has a few more systems going on than you might expect in your typical text based game. It should only take you a little more than 15 minutes, maybe 20, to play through.
