New Term, First Meeting and Glorious Discussions Concerning Interactive Entertainment: All Of Our Friends Are Dead
That is a very long subject line. If you don’t like it, well, you know who to yell at (hint: me).
It’s about time we got started for the spring term, and we’re getting right to the meat of things. Our first introductory meeting will be sometime next week, probably on Thursday, probably in the evening. That’s not very specific, I know.
But, this post is not entirely pointless. For immediately following our short introduction meeting, we will be holding our first Glorious Discussion Concerning Interactive Entertainment (GDCIE) of the term. For those not in the know, the GDCIE is a chance for anyone interested to play a chosen game and then discuss its design, artistic merit, etc.
In our rush to make you all happy I’m announcing our first discussion before we actually know when it will be, so as to give you all time to play the game first. The first GDCIE of the term will be the week of May 16 – 20, 2011, near the end of the week and most likely in the evening (as above). We will be discussing:
