Training times have been a problem for all of us as we are students and
have hectic schedules. Nonetheless, the exec (at least one of us) will be
at each of these training sessions. So, you are guaranteed to be with at
least one person!
Swimming: T & R 8 am PAC pool
Run: W & F 5pm
(the Fri 5pm run will have a designated beginner sub-group)
Sun 12:00 (excluding Mar. 3)
approx 1 hr for all times meet initially in front of the PAC and
run around Ring Rd. People can join the run in progress around
the road within that hour.
Bike: since winter is still here this is still up in the air. If people
are willing to go for it we are looking at:
* Mon 5 pm *
and Stormin Norm our VP will be out there this Monday meet
initially in front of the PAC.
For all the beginner Triathletes, the exec present in the pool are all
excellent swimmers are will be able to assist if you have questions.
For the beginner runners, I will be running on the Fri 5pm time and we
can set a pace comfortable for us, independent of the other more advance
group.
Please provide us some feedback concerning these times and anything else.
It is a lot more fun to train with someone and just organizing time
convenient for all is difficult. But the exec will be there, all the time
so see you then!

Some people have wondered where "in front of the PAC" meant for meeting
for runs etc. I guess mean Red North - the doors closest to the parking
lot and the SLC. (I think it is Red North) I hope that doesn't confuse
people more.
I guess I will see some people Fri aft @ 5 for a run? Slow and relaxed
right? (please!)
I was also wondering if anyone has Tues afternoons open? If someone would
like to setup some exercise routine then, I am game ie weights, running,
cycling if the snow melts!!
PS if anyone wants to find training partners and wishes to e-mail
everyone but doesn't have the mailing list, you can send it to me for
distribution!
Some other sessions may be organized so express your interest in the
newsgroup uw.clubs.triathlon.
Those who want to run more can hook up with the Runners Choice group
that meets at the Runners Choice store on University on the corner of
King St.
Also, there is a Triathlon swim program established through the
atheletics department that anybody can sign up for, take a
look in the Campus Recreation book for times and fees.
