This project is to make some sort of checkers game or something for Linux so that there'll be more stuff available for Linux.
Note from Ming: In the end, this group decided to create an Othello game. They had their own web page, but it is no longer active. Although I believe the group made considerably more progress than is shown here, the information on this web page is all that I could recover.
