csc accomplishments of note
- I contribute to j3parker's webcam stats.
Heavily. Turns out lbovard has now taken the title of major contributor. :(
- I act as random noise for cscbot, worked on by m4burns and j3parker. I have so far have managed to gain the most number of strikes.... twice x 2 (2 pre-release, 2 post-release).
projects
My personal website will generally show all, if not most, of the current projects I am working on. My uwaterloo CS page will show more academia-related stuff (including publications, courses, and more official projects, etc.). More personal uwaterloo/csc-related projects will likely be posted here.
Some things I am currently am working on (or hoping to work on at some point):
- uwaterloo campus navigator for android; bonus: use nearby wireless access points and/or cell towers to determine approximate location
- minenet (I have a book on multi-agent systems that I haven't yet opened)
- cscbot variant/merge with current c irc bot implementation
todo
Some todos and things:
misc
I did some pretty neat things when I was a ugrad. Like lead ACM and organize 100-150 attendee LAN Parties.
I also helped out with my CS dept a lot, such as volunteering at CS day 2010 (showed a robot, plus volunteered), and 2011 (took pics).
My skillset is quite diverse, ranging from freelance programmer, to random artist (traditional, not digital; link to work upcoming as I re-photograph my work). I hope to convert back my apartment to an art studio at some point.
I also play games? Sometimes.
contact
I am reachable through a variety of ways; usually via e-mail to sharvey@{csclub,cs,}.uwaterloo.ca.
