About
The paper club, officially a branch of the CSC, exists to expose the
Waterloo CS undergraduate community to the research side of computer
science by selecting good papers and providing a forum for discussion,
experimentation, and understanding. The club hopes as a secondary effect
to curb apathy and cynicism from upper year students regarding their
degree and to increase the overall quality of papers by exposing students
early on to what a good paper is.
Thanks
Paper club would not be without the efforts of volunteers.
Special thanks go out to:
- Dr. Prabhakar Ragde for providing the initial list of
papers and contacts
- Edgar Bering for pushing this idea forward
- Kyle Spaans for picking this up
- The Computer Science Club for hosting this website and
providing the papers in hardcopy through their library
